Terms of Use
These are our terms and conditions for any orders placed at //eBooze.
Please read these purchasing terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights
and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which //eBooze makes these
products available to you. If you do not accept these terms and conditions you may not
purchase any products from //eBooze.
PRICING
All prices are inclusive of VAT. The price of the items excludes the delivery charge
which will be calculated on placement of order. Gratuities are not included for payment
online however should you be satisfied with the service your Boozelegger delivers a gratuity
will be much appreciated.
AVAILABILITY
We will try our utmost to ensure availability, but there are times when certain products
may be out of stock. In that case, //eBooze will contact you and suggest alternatives at the
same, or a similar price. If the alternative products are not acceptable, we will deliver
available items less the out of stock items, or alternatively cancel the order. You will
be refunded or credited the difference, in case of non-availability. //eBooze is fully
licensed to trade in wine, beer, spirits, a variety of ciders and ready to drink items.
ACCEPTANCE
We will accept orders via email and phone where payment can be made via electronic transfer
of funds or in cash. No delivery will take place without proof of payment. We cannot sell
alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. Positive identification will be requested. For this
reason, we may refuse an order at our discretion and orders may not be transferred from the
customer to any other person.
DELIVERY
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, delivery will be made to the address registered
or stipulated by you. You have to be registered in order to place an online order with eBooze.
Upon check out, you will be advised of the delivery fee applicable to your area before making payment.
If a credit card was used for payment, it must be presented for crosscheck, and security purposes.
Scheduled delivery times are as follows:
- 10h00 – 18h00 Mon - Tues
- 10h00 – 20h00 Wed - Sat
- 1 hour delivery service - only available in Cape Town CBD and selected areas within
a 15km stretch. (But watch this space, we’re aiming to expand destinations for this
fabulous service)
Orders placed between 10h00 – 18h00 Mon - Tues and 10h00 – 20h00 Wed - Sat
- Same day delivery of orders to areas between 15km-40km from Cpt CBD.
Orders placed
before 11h00
- For national orders please contact us telephonically for a quotation and schedule.
All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no adult is
present at the address at time of delivery, the goods will be retained by the courier, in
which case notification of the attempted delivery will be given. We will subsequently
arrange a suitable time for delivery – additional delivery charges may apply.
No deliveries will be made on Sundays or International / Religious public holidays.
CANCELLATION
You have the right to cancel your order up to 6 hours after it has been placed and prior
to delivery. Any order that is cancelled after this period will not be refunded, and delivery
will take place. Payments made for orders that have been cancelled in good time will not be
refunded in cash, but will instead be credited to your account, for use in future purchases.
RETURNS
//eBooze guarantees the quality of all our products and your satisfaction is our foremost priority.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt
of your order. If the drinks are found to be faulty in any respect, we will collect, and exchange
it at no additional cost to you.
CREDIT CARD REFUNDS
Should it be required, //eBooze will process refunds to the credit card used at the time of purchase
upon receiving your returned purchase. Please allow 30 days for the refund to appear on your credit
card statement. If you have made payment by any other means we will send you a cheque or will
transfer the refund via EFT.
PAYMENT
Payment may be made via by bank transfer into the //eBooze’s bank account. Bank charges
for electronic payments are for client’s account.
MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder
is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).
RESPONSIBILITY
//eBooze takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including
sale of goods and services sold, customer service and support, dispute resolution
and delivery of goods. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not
exceed the total price charged for the relevant items and the delivery charges.
YOUR PRIVACY
//eBooze shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of Users.
For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed
in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
COUNTRY OF DOMICILE
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be decided only by South African courts.
If any of the abovementioned terms or conditions are held by a court of competent
authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will
not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions which will continue
to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
VARIATION
//eBooze may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at
any time without notice.
